Cookie Policy
How the Tapanes Law website uses cookies and browser storage.
Effective date: October 5, 2026
01About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies associated with https://tapaneslaw.com/ (the “Site”), operated by Tapanes Law, P.A., a Florida corporation doing business as Tapanes Law.
The Site provides information about our legal services and an inquiry form. It does not offer online purchases, bookings, newsletter subscriptions, or user accounts.
02Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser storage, which can retain information on your device, and embedded content, which may connect your browser to another provider.
First-party cookies are set by the website you visit. Third-party cookies are set by another provider whose content or services are used on that website. Session cookies generally expire when your browsing session ends; persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted.
03Technologies used on the Site
The Site’s stated practice is to use only technical cookies or storage. Its stated practice is also not to sell personal information.
Technical cookies or storage can support basic website functions. The Site stores your cookie notice choice in your browser’s local storage so the notice is not shown again on each visit.
The Site links to Google Maps for directions. Google Maps opens only when you choose to follow that link, and is then subject to Google’s own policies.
A hosting provider supports the Site’s operation, and email delivery providers support inquiry communications. Their involvement in email delivery does not, by itself, establish that they place cookies on the Site.
04Inquiry form and personal information
The inquiry form collects first and last name, email address, legal matter type, an optional phone number, and a brief message. It requires a privacy acknowledgment and consent to inquiry responses.
Information you enter in the form is separate from information stored or transmitted through cookies and similar technologies. Consent to an inquiry response is not the same as consent to optional cookies.
Please do not submit confidential information before an attorney-client relationship has been established in writing. Contacting Tapanes Law does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
05Third-party technologies
Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy and cookie policies. Blocking cookies may not prevent all connections or information transfers to providers of embedded content.
06How to manage cookies and storage
You can generally use your browser settings to view and delete cookies, block all cookies or restrict third-party cookies, clear local storage and other website data, and set preferences for individual websites.
Controls vary by browser and device. Consult your browser’s help resources for available options. Deleting cookies does not necessarily prevent new cookies from being placed when you return to the Site. Blocking cookies or storage may affect website features or embedded content.
You can review your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
07Changes to this policy
Changes to the Site’s technologies may require changes to this policy. The effective date above identifies the date of this policy.
